ABOUT ME *

I am a life long resident of the South Shore, where I live with my husband of almost 25 years and our two lovable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I find my own balance taking morning walks along my favorite routes, spending time with our young adult daughters, and volunteering in my community.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Bridgewater State University, a BA in Sociology from Holy Cross and a BS in Nursing from University of Massachusetts. I am also a member of Massachusetts Association for Mental Health Counselors, committed to staying current with best practices in mental health care.

My practice is currently focused on working with adults managing a variety of life challenges and changes, including managing difficult relationships, adjusting to a new phase of life, or coping with a difficult diagnosis. I have a special fondness for working with caregivers, including parents at every stage, adults caring for elderly parents, health care professionals and teachers.

My approach to counseling is grounded, collaborative and non-judgmental. I blend evidence-based techniques with empathy and support, creating a safe space to to process challenges and build resilience.
